The Majority shareholder and Managing Director of Airline Catering, Sherif Lotfy, has worked in the Food & Beverage Operation of the Intercontinental Hotels in Saudia Arabia and the Emirates where he gained wide experience.

During the Gulf War, personal views brought him to the Red Sea resort of Hurghada. It was during this time that he opened Moby Dick Restaurant, which for many years now has been one of the most popular venues in Hurghada.

 

Airline Catering started around 2001 with a request from a Russain Airline representative based in Hurghada, for only one meal.
The Business grew rather rapidly from there, becoming the main catering company supplying the Russain airline companies.

Sherif Lotfy believes that as a smaller, privately owned company, Moby Dick Airline Catering and its customers benefit from a streamlined, pro-active management structure where decisions can be made quickly and then be implemented and supported by the entire organization.
From the begining our company has been committed to providing its customers with innovative, quality products and service at competitive prices.
